Wwoofing in winter?

Winter is very short in Lower BC, you might be able to find some work there.
Also, some farmers have some winter project to take care off; contact them directly to ask! I work at some Wwoof farm in Quebec/Ontario and they are on my CS profile or CS Montreal event. Check it out!

Fro instance, some traditional farmers need to harwest wood for heating purpose. Because there is water and muddy ground almost everywhere in Canada, with deep foliage cover, the easyest way to go anywhere (and the only way in some part of the deep North) is in winter. When everything is frozen, one can go anywhere with ease!

Hi,
generally farms that have animals need help all year round. You should look for farms that have mostly animals or a larger number of them and ask directly.
Often there is less work than in the summer but some farmers just like to have company.
