Advice anyone

Would love to hear from other WWOOF'ers in Canada, my boyfriend and I are thinking of heading to Manitoba in August for our first experience.

Any advice/ warnings/ tips??

I'm guessing that each farm is different, but do you know if there is an expected amount of time you should stay there, we were hoping to just go for 2 weeks maybe? Is this long enough for them?
