Neither wise nor very experienced her, but you are welcome at our place in Battle Creek, Michigan. I may also hit you up for a couch next February after leaving Antartica working for Raytheon.

Howzit work,
You must do your homework thoroughly. Begin by reading everything on the Couchsurfing site. When people look at your profile, it seems like you got on it just to take advantage of "free lodging"; that's not what it's all about. You need to spend more time working on your profile.
Take care; I hope this was helpful.

Howzit work,
Work on the following sections of your profile: TYPE OF PEOPLE I ENJOY AND TEACH, LEARN, SHARE. Also, when you are requesting a couch, make it very personal. Read the person's profile thoroughly and point something that you saw on their profile which struck you, etc... Also, it is good to once in a while visit "the youngies." They have a lot to offer and you can learn a lot from them. There is no need to get blasted, to enjoy their company.
Hope that I have helped; sincerely,
Rosine
