Hi everyone - not quite sure how this works and if I have posted to the right place - this is my intro to the Aussie 50+ group
I'm in Darwin - please drop a line if your passing this way, can try to host or if I'm already hosting at least catch up.Work full time but manage to take a few days off now again to ensure this Jill doesn't become dull.

Have a bit of travel planned for the year but aways looking for more. Estelle would love to do a kimberly adventure but June, and September onwards is out for me this year.

hello there
I love the traveling side of CS but tend not to be an active vocal member on groups It's finding the balance between totally participating in traveling, and then totally participating in ones life back home. This in no way diminishes the value that I feel comes from this organization. Am Sydney based and would be happy to meet up occasionally with other local members. For the time being have no firm travel plans, but generally make decisions quickly and I'm off.

Recently did my first bit of CS in Oz. Had previously thought that it as an experience only for foreign travel, but loved it once again for its exceptional people.

great idea .......
breifvly.......as the cold is coming to France....i have the urge to move ....basically from nov to may......i don t have
definite plans for this year.....after the wet i want to go North of OZ ( my favorite place on the planet) but before that i don t know yet ....if you have warm weather plans ...

G'day Folks

I'm currently living in the beautiful south west of Western Australia and I'd be happy to host folks passing this way.

The urge to travel is starting to hit pretty hard, China or Vietnam are the main callings but I know nothing of them. Perhaps I should learn more before I go? Nah, I thought not. Just do it !!

Hi,
My husband and I returned from three and half years travelling North, Central and South America last August. We joined couch-surfing earlier last year but had no time to put into it. We now have a home and a relatively stable life and I want to get more involved. I think this is a great way to meet other travellers.
We live in Mullumbimby in Northern NSW and will soon be happy to host travellers who come this way and would like to visit an alternative to the very busy Byron Bay.
It may help me to ease my urge to travel constantly if I can experience it with others who are on the road in my beloved country.

Thanks estelle for doing a great Job

Im Beth up in Darwin and I would encourage any of you in the group who have not travelled up here to do so this dry season (thats if it does stop raining)

I welcome those who are truely CS and are willing to share
their evening to come an surf here. Darwin CS group is now becoming very lively lot with a regular weekly BBQ and a monthly meet.In the dry darwin just springs to life and its great fun.
