"Must see" places in Australia

Australia's a very big place but where (and when) are the "must see" places in our vast land? For me, the main thing on my still to do Aussie list is a visit to Lake Eyre when it's in flood. Of the things I've done, I'd strongly recommend; Broome in the winter, Mount Beauty in the autumn, Boxing day test match at the MCG, Western Tassie at any time, spring in the Barossa and Cooktown when needing to chill out. |
