I found several results for a *general* search of 'Basilica Italy', but nothing for anything more specific than that....

Turbosquid is also a good place to go -- models there are either free or cost money.

Hi Emily,

It will take you a lot of time, for sure, but I think it can be interesting. I know almost perfectly how to work with sketchup, so if you have questions I could help you with that.

First of all, when do you need to finish it?

Second, try if you can get a dwg file of the church in the townhall. I'm not sure if they have it and if they do, I'm not sure if they simply give it to you. But it is worth a shot!

Third. Do you need a design only of the exterior or also interior?

Fourth. If there is no dwg file, you need to have all possible measurements of the basilica. How well can you work with sketchup? How well does it needs to be detailed? Cause in sketchup you can design everything (despite the fact that it might take a while). But there are other programs to do this more detailed, or with better graphics.

If you have some answers on these questions, I can help you more.

Ciao!

Hello Jennifer,

thank you very much for your answer.

Answers to your interesting questions:

1. i have to finish my work for half of june.

2.Tryed to get a dwg but it is impossible, in townhall they very don't know what it means "organization".
I have a jpg and trying to draw again on it.
I try also with a software "wintopo" to convert jpg to dxf. It works, not very well but it works.

The problem is i don't know how to do this thing: i have many lines and i want to convert all this lines in ONE polyline. Sorry for my bad explication :-)... hope you understand what i mean

3. i need a design of the interior (better if also exterior) but i begin from interior.

4. i know sketch up but i don't use it well...

5.my situation at the moment is that i want to design plan and then import it on sketch up or 3ds max.

Hope i'm not boring you...

if you have any suggestion please let me know

thank you very much for sharing your time and knowledge!!!
hope to talk to you soon
