My favorite is Filipino Lumpia. It can be made with or without ground pork and has lots of vegetables. Instead of lumpia wrappers which are hard to find...try spring roll wrappers. Most oriental small grocery stores carry them. Some big grocery places also have the wrappers. Just google lumpia. They are a must at any party. If done right...it will be your new favorite food.

My favorite is a little like Bruschetta.
Take a loaf of bread (baguette is preferred)and slice it about 1-1.5 cm in rounds. If you have, spread the bottom of each with cream cheese and onion flakes (but those are not necessary). Next, chop tomatoes, sweet peppers, thinly sliced onions and mix with a bit of grated cheese (I always use cheddar)You may also add spiced sausages, which adds deliciousness). Spread on baguette slices. Bake for about 15 min in the oven.

My ultimate favourite is hoummous that you can use as a dip with carrot, cucumber or celery sticks or crackers as well. Depending where you are, if you can buy it in the supermarket, but where i'm from it is not popular and very hard to get, so here it goes the recipe:

Ingredients:
ingredients:
1 can of 16 ounces (about 1/2 kilo) of chickpeas
1/4 cup liquid from chickpeas
3-5 tablespoons lemon juice (depending on taste)
1 1/2 tablespoon tahini
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Drain the jar of chickpeas and reserve the liquid. put the
ingredients in a blender or processor. Mix well for 3 to 5
minutes at low speed until smooth.
Put in a bowl and make a hole in the middle. Add 1 or 2 there
tablespoons olive oil.

You can add parsley, pepper, pepper and others.

It can be refrigerated up to 3 days and freeze up to 1 month.
If dry, add olive oil.

UUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMM
BON APETITE!!!!

I saw a recipe for stuffed tomatoes. It used little bite-sized tomatoes and a mix of cream cheese, mayonnaise, and herbs. You cut off the top of the tomatoes and remove the insides. Combine the cream cheese and mayo then add in herbs like dill and green onion, etc. Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed out tomatoes and serve.

The stuffed tomatoes reminded me of stuffed mushrooms with a mix of Rockford cheese... for a little bit in the oven, they are heavenly! buy to be honest, I've never done them, so I don't have a recipe.
Best of lucks! - Pasita
