I am looking to do some sailing next Summer,July and August 2013 - Couchsailing International

Hi Clo,

Last summer I had a good group of CouchSurfers on my sailboat. The following summer, I plan the same.
The route will be the Adriatic islands, departure I will determine next year. Duration from 14 days to 60 days. The costs are shared. People of good will are always welcome.

Hi Zelimir,

Your trip is too inviting for me to stay put and not ask you if i may join. I'm aware there are many people already on the list and not everybody will fit on the boat, but consider me as a potential crew. I learned sailing as a kid in Brittany (France), but haven't practiced for a long time, so in other words i need an update. I have been planning onto getting back to it since many years, and when I'll be confident enough i wish to get a boat and go from Portugal to the Caribbean sea... and who knows where after? It's just a dream for now, but sailing with you would help me getting closer to it. I am reliable and musician, ready to play some good sailor songs with my fiddle after navigation!

Hi Loic,

My boat has max 8 beds. When plan of travel it's finished I will decide who will participate. According to the experience from last year when a reported 30+ interested people appeared in only 5 of them.

Hi Zelimir,

last year, I chartered a boat and went sailing from Krk and around Cres etc. Really beautiful archipelago you have.

Ours in Sweden is not that bad either, so I thought perhaps I should offer something similar, but my boat has max 5 berths, although 4 is more comfortable, so if there's an "overflow" of interest to join you, and any of your "participants" wouldn't mind to come to Sweden (also or instead), or if you'd like to come up to Sweden for a week or two of sailing yourself (since you likely have the skippering experience, I don't even have to be present, if it's dates I can't go).

In Sweden, I would suggest the month of August since it's warmest and actually not so many people (most Swedes go on vacation in July), and I likely have the first weeks easier to join myself.

Keep me posted if there's an interest or such an "overflow" ;)
