I wish I could give you more positive info.

Mostly French boats go to Senegal. When we were in The Gambia we saw no other sailboats. At the moment, your best bet may be going from the Cape Verdes, which means hitching down there first. Check the other posts about that, maybe La Gomera or Las Palmas in the Canaries. I didn't see other sailboats in Morocco when we were there. People hole up for the winter in Tunis and It's too late to leave. You might phone the marinas in Gibraltar to see who's there, but it's a long shot.
