CDM looking for opportunity to dive/sail... somewhere... anywhere?

Hey all!

I have been traveling outside of the US for nearly a year and a half now and have no intentions of returning anytime soon! I had originally been thinking about heading to South America after I was finished in Central America, but the more I'm around the ocean the more I think I NEED to be on a boat, preferably a sail boat, sometime soon!

I would LOVE to find a position on a boat sailing pretty much anywhere. I haven't really seen much of the world and there aren't many places I don't want to see so I'm open for pretty much anything!

I am a certified Divemaster, I love to cook and bake (most people say I'm good at it!), I am physically fit and stronger than I look, hard-working, yada yada yada... I DON'T have any sailing experience but I don't get sea sick and although I get along with just about everyone and I'm quite social, solitude doesn't bother me one bit either.

Anyone know anything!? Please let me know!! :o)

hi laura,
best advise i can offer is to try find a crew, only problem is its expensive, but there is a lot of other sites out there but most cost money, from what i see paid positions use crew placement companies, so ya kinda stuck with that.

Yeah, I'm on find a crew- just thought it couldn't hurt to throw something up on here too. Thanks for the advice! :)

I'm captain of a sailboat currently in southern Cuba. I'm home right now selling a house, back to Cienfuegos in late April. I might need crew and a refresher dive course. email me.
