Visiting in December for Landscape Photography
Hello lovely CSs,
Hope this message find you well.
Well it's clear from the subject what i'm looking for :)
I'm an amateur landscape photographer and I’m a nature lover, so as I know you have a lovely and beautiful country and I'm really excited to take stunning pictures :)
so I'm wondering if someone here can help me or give me tips/hints about the beautiful landscape there ? and where to go ?
Also, if someone will be traveling at same time and interested to join me it would be awesome.
My initial plan is to stay three weeks. The first week I’ll be busy with my friend in Texas, Houston and after that I’m thinking to go to California and cover the followings:
San Francisco ( rent a car here and drive to :Yosemite National Park, Los Angeles and San Diego )
What do you think guys? and anyone would like to join :) ?
Looking forward hearing from you,
Have a nice weekend.
Regards,
Rashed
Rashed - Arizona and New Mexico are really beautiful with some of the most amazing rock formations and many beautiful parks. In New Mexico check out Carlsbad Caverns, El Malpais National Park, Camel Rock, places like that. As for Arizona there are some of the ghost towns and old adobe homes. It is really awesome, unlike anything else in America. As for California Yosemite is beautiful. I grew up near there and went many many times. The trees are giant! There are so many awesome parks in California that it is impossible to see them all. I can't say a lot for Southern California but Yosemite is definitely worth the trip.
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your suggestion, I'll consider Arizona and New Mexico in my next trip to your lovely country :)

it seems also u r a good photographer from the way u sort all these inspiring photographers :) and the one I like is Ansel Adams.
I'm still new to this field so I'm shooting digital.

I invite you to come to the desert of Algeria, where the landscape will certainly impair Admire .thanks
Thanks Cynthia , I'm definitely going there :)
Mohammed, I'll let know if I'm coming to Algeria.
Abderrazak, thanks to share your FB, I liked it.

Hi Rashed,
I'd agree on the coastal highway - many beautiful views. I think San Diego is pretty, LA is not.
Another idea is to look up any National Parks - and State Parks - the reason they make the lists are because of their beauty, generally. You can get a yearly pass for the national parks for about $80. But, for some, in the winter, they may be free admission anyway.
And, Colorado, for a future trip, has some of the best scenery anywhere!
thanks Robert & & Jan,
I'm planning to go to Yosemite National Park, but don't know how the weather gonna be!
so for now my plan as the following:
San Francisco/Yosemite: Friday the 7th to Friday the 14th
LA : ( 14th to 17th) . (rent a car and drive along the Pacific Coast Highway; stop to visit Hearst Castle near Big Sur; arrive to LA that night)
San Diego :(17th to 19th ): drive to San Diego from LA.
Las Vegas : (19th to 21st) :
It would be nice if anyone is interested to join
Looking forward hearing from you soon,
I don't know if your plans are solid yet but Zion National Park is AMAZING. Also Lake Powell on the border of Utah/Arizona is an overlooked place that's unbelievable, it looks like another planet... Have fun, I hope you'll post a link when you've taken the pictures, I'm also into landscape photography and this is a great country for it. :)
