I am a nurse in Dallas, Texas and work with many women from India. I have found everyone, man or woman, from India to be extremely nice and helpful. We work as a team and have to help each other out and being with nice people is so important. There are plenty of nursing jobs in America and Canada, the hospitals are begging for nurses. The average starting pay at a large hospital would be about $22. an hour, with a shift differential if they work nights. I hope this helps you and your daughter. To be a nurse in America, she would have to pass the NCLEX, which is the state board of nursing test in whatever state she moved to. She would have 3 chances to pass the test. Many hospitals will take a new graduate and train them so they don't feel overwhelmed.
