Hello dear families from Istanbul!

I'm wondering how active this groups is? I'm coming to Istanbul in July with my two kids (9 years old daughter and my son will be 7 by then) and we'd love to meet local (expat, visitor,etc) families with or without young children!

I'm also interested to get some tips and ideas on what to see and do with kids there. Is there a library with English children's books, a zoo worth to visit, pools to splash in, a shaded relaxing playground to play at?
