Thanks for that info, I'm moving over in February so I will be looking for a shared flat as well! Where are the good areas to look for?

Hi Gus

Thanks for the advice. I will be working there as a design manager. Kowloon Bay, Mongkok and Hunghom seem good areas to me. My HK office will be in Cheung Sha Wan, but i will be spending 3-4 nights a week working in Changping over the boarder.

What can i expect in a flat for the money?

I noticed on Gumtree though there are a quite a few ads that point to the same phone number. Are those real estate agencies for shared flats? Does anyone have experience with them?

I was also wondering if there are any Chinese-Language sites like Gumtree?
