Our program of fresh documentary films aims to highlight heroes of modern times - subjects of historical process rather than historical discussions. Along with exciting stories documentaries depict Ukrainians' everyday life - much closer than any news show.

Western Ukraine has always been at the crossroad of political interests of many countries. Since childhood Eugen has had strange passion for graves. Today, he has created more than 100 memorial headstones. His philosophy combines cosmopolitanism and austerity. His monuments prevent people from forgetting history and provoke a discussion and reconciliation in local community.

HEROES OF MODERN TIME, Roman Bondarchuk, 2011
This documentary project pictures modern Ukrainians struggling against social injustice. These are the stories of common people from remote regions of Eastern and Southern Ukraine who did not allow the system to drive themselves to a dead end.
