Needing Christmas host for a Texan traveler

I plan on travelling from December 21st to January 3-4th. This is my first experience couchsurfing, so any good people to host or great tips for me would be much appreciated. I'm looking to pass through Alabama, Mississipi, Florida, and maybe Tennessee...I have no concrete plans as of yet! Looking forward to hearing back from anyone! Cheers!
