Hi Erin,

Sorry, someone from Alaska (!) snatched my couch way back in April. I have to admit, I am really surprised (and rather diasppointed) that NOT ONE person in Chicago offered their couch for people coming in for SCRA. That doesn't sound very community-oriented, does it?

My suggestion is, if you know someone in Chicago who might have a place to stay, contact them directly. Another cheaper option is booking a hostel within walking distance of the conference locations. I forget the name, but the hostel is on Congress.

I was also rather surprised nobody else from chicago offered up a place. Oh well. Can't win them all.

Unfortunately the hostel is booked Wednesday and Saturday night.
