No chance for a --- TOO ORDINARY CAT !

.. " it will be getting very difficult to find a home for such an ordinary looking cat" ist what I heard much during the last days. People might looking for special looking cats with outstanding patterns. I really do not believe that this counts for an animal helping group. But for all cases: Believe me, Mollow tried his best to look very cute and beautiful as much as he could for his foto session to touch your heart.

Whats his story: He was found last week on the streets, not able to walk - he kept falling down sideways after a few steps. He was stinky and absolutely dirty and obvously to much too weak to clean himself for quite a while. Mollow denied to eat or drink - just looking at you.




The reason was a very bad ear ortitis that influenced his ballance and inflammations in the mouth, so eating and drinking hurted him much. Mollow was immediately put on a drip to increase liquid for three days and food was given with an injection. It was very happy to see that he started to eat by his own yesterday and this with a big hungry mouth. He still can not walk more than three or four steps but he is getting better every day. So time to find a place for him as soon as possible. Even if he is "ordinary" he has his specialities:
He shows so much his happiness and purres endlessly if you just stike him. He is really worth to give him a chance.

So I sadly have to update the latest news:

I learned today that he is having FIV. That does not mean that he has
to die. It means only that his life can be shorter than others.
Depending on the immune system. And it depends on the people if

they give him chance to try! He is still in vets treatment and he gets
better every day. But still his condition is bad. FIV is totally
harmless to human. But unfortunally not to other cats. He must live
alone or with other FIV-Cats. That is his only chance. So far no-one
wants him. Please if you consider giving him a life, please get in
contact urgently. He has to leave his place soon and did not find a
place to stay yet!

I just really want to thank the ones who offered me to buy a foodbag or sand and gave me medicine support! It is really great to see that people help!
The cutie is still looking for a place. Even if you can host him for 2-3 month until a home is found it would be much appreciated and will make him happy!

Hi Gülsah, thanks for the suggestion. I do not want to disturb and mix groups who are not into animal care. The "Istanbul help for animals" 's has already got 194 members. I think all who want to help and give love are already here.

For all who are interested in how I'm doing:
Well, my big success! I do walk again. And I do not fall anymore! I discoverd a few toys at my foster home.
Playing is great, but sometimes very confusing.
Due to playing and keeping ballance I must learn again.
My eyes are are fine and not inflammed anymore. Same for my month. You would not feel my ribs anymore as I had plenty of good food during the last weeks.

I'm lazy and very friendly FIV+ cat looking for a home.

Latest news:

Molo is really fine. He found back all his strengh, got more weight and his balance is no longer a problem.
Due to all this we were able to neuteralize him. We has a very frindly character and he is a really lazy cat. We likes to sleep a lot and stroking him is the most pleasure to him.
But still he needs a home ....

It is not a question of a temporary one. We want to find a permanent home for him. Please only ask if you consider keeping him also after your Istanbul stay. We are able to help you with the documents needed to bring him to your country home. Also of course he would be happy to stay in Istanbul with a local.
