hey cs!!
I wonder why there is no reaction to your posts - I would love to help you!! for that I'm gonna ask some bakeries and butchers around my neigbourhood whether they could donate some old stuff for saturday. I can also cook something if that helps - that's the least to do! I'm gonna get in contact with you nika and take the stuff to your place:)
greetings, silvia

Hey!
I'd like to help gather some food, too. Unfortunately my turkish isn't good enough to explain to my turkish butcher/baker what I want from him. Could someone translate the following sentence for me, please?
"On saturday my friend goes to feed the dogs in Beykoz Forest. I wanted to ask you if you could donate some food for them. I would be most grateful!
When can I pick it up?"
So far I got to:
Cumartesi arkadasim Beykoz Ormani gidiyor ve köpegi beslemiyor. But then I don't know how I can ask for their contribution?!
Thanks folks :)

The translation would be:
"Cumartesi arkadaşım Beykoz ormanı'na köpekleri beslemeye gidecek. Onlara vermek için yiyecek bir şeyler bağışlayabilir misiniz?"
"kopegi beslemiyor" means "he or she doesn't feed the dog", so it would be the polar opposite.

Thank you a lot, Ulas! Now I can go on my butcher-and-bakery-tour :)
Cheers

I would like to send you some dog food but i don't have time to bring it to you, my work hours are a little unpredictable. If you could message me an adress i can send you the food. I'll buy it online and i can get it sent to you directly from the store. You can use it for next Saturday maybe?
