Trans Siberian

Hi,

My husband, 11 year old (at the time) son and I travelled the TransSiberian from Ulaanbaator to St. Petersburg (with stops along the way) in September 2009. We do not speak Russian, just hello, please, numbers, simple stuff. It was no problem along the way. We arranged homestays for our stopovers. All our hosts spoke English and were very generous with their time & advice helping us plan our adventures. It was a great adventure! I'm happy to try and answer any questions about our experience.

what a good news!
I am planing doing Moscow to Irkustk, or even Beijin, I dont know yet, I would love to past in Mongolia and still thinking that China would be another trip.
I would like to know how hard, or not, is to get the ticket for the trasnsiberain train, because it is possible to buy only 45 days before.
