Hello vegans/vegetarians of Melbourne!

I'm an American student that has just been accepted as an exchange student to the University of Melbourne. I'm originally from Portland and go to school in Seattle, while most of my relatives are from Taiwan. These places are probably the most veg friendly places I can think of. I'm just peeking into this group to ask what I can expect out of my year here starting in July! Also as a student how affordable/available is vegetarian/vegan food. I hope to meet some of you soon :)

Hey Vince,
Melbourne is veg/an easy! Especially around fitzroy, cartlon, brunswick... and then there's the hip 'lord of the fries' fast ethical veg food chain that's got great food too... just jump onto happycow and you'll see the options. Also heaps of asian places to eat at too
Let me know when you get to melbourne, and we can go grab some food.

Thank you. Wow fast ethical veg food, I like the sound of that! I would love to meet fellow veg when I am there. Hopefully I will see ya'll this summer (or I guess winter) :)
