I'm a PADI Divemaster located in the Fort Lauderdale area. I don't think there's much diving around Orlando except maybe Seaworld.. though there are springs within a short drive. Of course, Daytona/Port Orange would be pretty close for you, but you'll want to get on a boat - structure is a pretty good trek offshore.
If you find yourself headed down this way, give me a shout... I'm always looking for an excuse to go diving. Our first reef is just a hundred yards or so offshore, and I've got other buddies with dive boats, etc.
You might also try DiveBuddy.com - it's a pretty established site with lots of divers in Florida.
