The highlight of my time there was when I saw a sea turtle. Once. But otherwise there are octopuses near the shore and grupas in deeper water and some interesting wrecks to explore. Let me know if you need any additional info! Hanna-Mari This member has chosen to allow only Couchsurfing members to see their group posts. To see this full converstion, sign up or log in. Hey! I was working at Diver's Club Crete. Their equipment is good, air is clean and they generally take good care of their divers with the exception of sometimes making them wait for their dives for too long. If there are any particular dive sites you would like to visit (for instance Messerschmitt plane wreck) or Blue Cave, you need to be persistent in demanding that this is what you want and you'll not be happy making all of your dives on the same sites nearer to the shore. There is the factor of weather as well, of course, since the more exciting sites are usually also more open to the winds, but this is just something to bear in mind that they like to take the "easier" way out sometimes. As far as Ios, I haven't done any diving there, but I visited the diving center at Mylopotas beach and they seemed like very nice people and the dive center looked good as well. If you have any other questions I might be able to answer, ask away! :) Hanna-Mari I was diving in Santorini in August and what Hanna said is true. THey took the easy way out and let us do a short dive on the 2nd dive. 1st dive they called it the volcano and it was very disappointing. I did go south of Athens with some locals that took me out with them and that was good dive but it took some time to get there. It was off an island and they had a boat. That was much better site. Good luck in your travels and diving, Pam merhaba, Türkiye için sana yardım edebilirim..tüm dalış noktalarını biliyorum This member has chosen to allow only Couchsurfing members to see their group posts.
