tips for Krabi Thailand

Considering 3 nights in K. Phi Phi, 3 nights in K. Lanta and maybe 1 night in Krabi town to see what it is like...if it worth it. For the accommodation... reasonable price yes but also reasonable level since Im taking my mum there... For the diving - where are the best dive sites? Any other activities / points of interest we shouldnt miss? Any info will help. Thanks much. Zuzana
