So for me tomorrow is ok for me. We should tell the others maybe by private message because we are short of time.

Posted August 8th, 2011 - 12:56 pm by from Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Permalink)
I can play tomorrow too... keep me posted on location and time else I'll check out the two spots close to my place and depending on the weather both places are quite ok outdoor playgrounds...

So wednesday 18:30 can be good to give us more time to organize... if weather is not nice we can go under the bridge again. I will put a post in general group too

Posted August 8th, 2011 - 2:43 pm by from Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Permalink)
If you confirm that the playground near your place is ok i can create an event and invite people for wed.

dude those hoops are in chains.... so no go for the Ginnheimer... whatever place!

If possible let's stay in Frankfurt city... that place was like in the middle of nowhere!

I'm not sure about Wednesday but if the place is close enough and the weather not this crapy I'll make it too. The hoops around my place (Nordend, Günthersburg Park and on Rothschildalle) are both outside.

lmao... you know that Günthersburg Park is just around the corner of Bergerstr. right? Need I say more :-P

Anyways, Fabio... It's all subjective I guess... didn't know you lived in Ginnh.. something something.. lol

Posted August 9th, 2011 - 10:58 am by from Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Permalink)
Both locations are acceptable, Frankfurt is small, just a few u-bahn stations. The problem is that in Ginheim the hoops are locked with chains one in front of the other. So, i guess that G. park can be nice, is nice place.
Look, i found this cool website

Posted August 9th, 2011 - 11:21 am by from Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Permalink)
Ok, so this time G. Park is ok! ... and we have a Biergarten right next to it :)
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=es&cp=15&gs_id=1j&xhr=t&q=g%C3%BCntherburgpark&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1024&bih=677&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl
Let´s meet at 18:30 in G. Park. Fabio i can be there at 17:00.
Ok?

Posted August 9th, 2011 - 11:49 am by from Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Permalink)
Nice website/tool Adrian. Gtbg-Park is in my backyard so I guess I'll be seeing you guys.
I also got around to give life back to balls lol...

So we should be good to go! I'm back from work at about 1700 which just works out well (for me atleast).

cyall there!
Peace.

Yes, the location is excellent, the problem is that the baskets are too low and one of them is totally bent. We didn´t enjoy so much this. The park is just 3 U-bahn stations away from konstablerwache and then walking maybe 5 blocks. I don´t know if the hoops are ok, but if they are i guess the location is good. I am coming with the bike from Langen, so if people are not capable of walking 5 hundred meters...

In my opinion we should meet in Günthersburgpark. Last time we went to Ginnheim and the baskets were locked.
here is how to arrive
http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Bornheim+Mitte,+Frankfurt+am+Main,+Deutschland&daddr=50.12994,8.7052+to:Comeniusstra%C3%9Fe+39,+60389+Frankfurt,+Germany+(Caf%C3%A9+im+G%C3%BCnthersburgpark)&hl=es&ie=UTF8&ll=50.128653,8.706129&spn=0.00791,0.013797&sll=50.126315,8.705109&sspn=0.003955,0.006899&geocode=FQHb_AIdQNuEAClHUcy37A69RzGwNSZ7DYhBRA%3BFRTs_AIdsNSEAClLonTq6w69RzFg3IoPUEMiEw%3BFeDt_AId_NOEACEicV2AYWwj0yl3UCBg6Q69RzH-Im-4PwXRSA&mra=ltm&via=1&dirflg=w&t=h&z=16

If its raining we can go under the bridge, but with good weather makes no sense cuz baskets are not nice and its dark.

That place, under the bridge, sucks. I don't want to play there again. It's also too dark, I couldn't see properly
when we played last week.

Hi Guys,
I'm with Dimitri on this one... it wasn't much fun under the bridge for me either. Anyways you guys have fun! I guess there shall soon be enough of us that we don't necessary all have to play at thesame location ;-) That's the fun of this game lol. I was in the park yesterday when the weather got a little better... The hoops there aren't super great either but atleast it's not dark.

Posted August 10th, 2011 - 8:40 am by from Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Permalink)
Yes Adam, i agree with Dimitrije´s post too, baskets are not good at all. There is another place that is very close to the zoo in the Heinrich-von-Gagern-Gymnasium. We can check if it is possible to play there in the future.
So today if there are more people wanting to go i can go to Günthersburgpark. If we are four i think it´s ok and i guess we can find someone else there. Would be cool cuz weather is good.

I think that the best would be going to Günthersburgpark today, because i did put a post in the general group yesterday (as i explained in the meeting last week i would do) so gathering more people. Since is just 10 minutes walking from "bornheim mite" u-bahn station, i think is really not far away (we had a meeting with 50 people in ostpark and noone complained). In the future we can agree about other place, i am flexible if the baskets are just acceptable.
