You may want to revise that number to a more realistic figure. There may be 5 million profiles registered, ever, but no more than about 1 million are in any way active. The rest was never used, since deleted, forgotten, are fakes or duplicates, etc.

I think it is obvious that they must include non-members. I would also expect a certain amount of under- and over-reporting, given that the same traveling person signing on from several locations would likely be counted as different people. But multiple access (host & guests) from the same computer might be counted as a single person.
