Another system that's already in place and can be used on top of CS, BW or whatever is the PGP based web-of-trust. If you publish your public key on a profile page others are able to sign them and approve your trustworthiness. The Debian project is using that "decentralized trust and reputation system" for quite a while already. We could start using this approach just today and tell your friends and surfers about it. Also the approach of CAcert.org might be interesting to us. A hospitality network seems like the perfect condition for such a project to grow. What do you think?
