Tips HOW to hitch from Vancity to Whistler ?

next week I´m planning to hitchhike fram Vancouver to Whistler.
Any tips where I could start the best ?

Hey Laure !

Thank you. I already hitched this road by the time you wrote the mail. But yeah: this seems to be the easiest trip to hitch ever. I took another small bus to Lions Bay from horseshoe Bay. The bus driver even let me out at a good place just on the road. nice people.
