Anybody going to Rio de Janeiro for carnival?

Hi. Looking for place to stay in Rio during carnival?

We have rented one apartment in Botafogo place (near Copacabana beach) for 5 days ( the apartament is for six persons).
We have place for more 3 persons if you are interested.

Se alguém estiver interesse, nos respondam o quanto antes.
Vamos assistir os desfiles, aproveitar os blocos de rua e desfilar na Mangueira.

I'll be there in Santa Tereza ... I don't know if it's next to Botafogo ... But I want to go to Mangueira also (actually I need to buy my custome yet) ... but let's keep in touch.. this Carnival definitely will be great!

Santa Tereza is near.

On Sunday, we will watch the samba schools. On Monday, we will march in the hose, though some people in the group want to watch the two days.

Do you want to dance or to look the samba school?

The clothe you can to buy by site.
If you want to dance with us, I have the contact.

Hi! I'm still looking for a place to stay! I was planning to couchsurf, but it doesn't seem to work out after all. And I'm getting nervous, arriving by plane Friday evening 17 February.

I'm an experienced traveller, willing to pitch in with all expenses and very much looking forward to being surprised by Carnival!

I am looking for people to hang out with in Carnival as I'll be there on my own. I might be able to spare the second bed in a room the novotel at Santos Dupont. It's 300 so if the other person can pay up to 100 per night would be good. I am checking in there tomorrow. I'd probably want to meet the person first though.

Mainly, like I said, anyone want to meet for drinks and to watch the carnival, etc, let me know
