Vegan traveling in Europe
Posted March 9th, 2013 - 11:07 pm by from Manteca, United States (Permalink)
Hi my name is Jenna and i'm from California, the United States. I'm currently traveling in Europe and will be here for another 2 months. I will be traveling solo and with travel partners (all vegan or vegetarian) and am hoping to find vegan/vegetarian hosts, people to show me around their cities, travel partners, and any advice!
I have been vegan for 5 years now and will be trying my best to remain so throughout this trip. This is my first time traveling through Europe so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Here is my current itinerary:
Spain with a friend March 7th-March 18th. Madrid, Granada, Valencia, Barcelona
Amsterdam/surrounding area with my sister March 18th-March 22nd
Berlin with my sister March 22nd-March 25th
Italy with my sister and mom March 28th-April 7th
We want to visit Cinque Terre, Florence, Rome, Naples and Venice
Croatia by myself April 8th-14th
Austria/Germany/Switzerland by myself April 15th to April 30th
Belgium by myself May 1st-May 7th
London by myself May 8th-May 11th

I appreciate any help!
Thank you!

Hi Jenna,

If you and your sister need a place to stay in the surroundings of Amsterdam or need some advice on good places to eat then just send me a message!

Cheers,

Robert

Hey there Jenna,
Happy travels to you ~
I second that notion for HappyCow.net. It's been an amazing resource for me for 10 years now. and especially while traveling last year in Europe on two seperate trips in 8 different countries.

Also, if you use FB, there's a vegan couchsurfing FB group for people to post where they're going, and people offering to host as well

HAve an amazing journey. I got to visit some of the places you're going, and others I really wanted to get to, but didn't have time...

I'll be back Europe!, I promise :)
peace
