camping and other stuff

Hey all,
I want to give you some information you might want to know about the festival. The camping space will open on thursday 8pm (20 Uhr). Most people will go there on thursday evening. It's a good idea to do the same, cause if we only arrive on friday afternoon we'll get a place far away from the stage area, check out this link (http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=175672955&size=o) to get an impression - it's a 10 minute walk from the end of the runway!

camping stuff:
Who can bring a tent? I got a new 2-person tent and also an old 3-person tent which is suitable if the weather isn't too bad (a bit heavy to carry tough)
I can also bring some other stuff like cooking gas, pots, plastic plates, etc.
Anyway if you got some good (easy to carry) camping stuff bring it with you. Don't forget a camping mat and a sleeping bag (and pillow if you need it).
Checkout the weather on www.wetter.com and type in 78579.

I recommend you to buy one of those (http://www.louis.de/promotion/camping_faltstuhl-36.asp) camping chairs, they're cheap (about 10euro) and take little space (you can fold them) and you get them in every building center/hardware store (german: "Baumarkt") - especially if the ground is wet it's quite nice to have one!

Who can be there on thursday evening ???

cheers!

Dan

sorry I forgot to ask you to join the meeting "Southside Festival 2007" as we might attract some other cs'ers to join us ;-)

hmm, I'll arrive at Tuttlingen at like 8:30 by train, hopefully it doesn't take forever to get to the festival area. Have to work on Thursday, so I can't get there earlier. I think my parents have a 3 or 4 person tent, but it's pretty heavy, so I'm not sure if I want to carry that by train, so it would be great if someone has some room in his tent.

I think we have lots of camping stuff, but I don't really wanna carry anything heavy. I'm pretty sure we have one of those small gas cookers somewhere at home. I think also a few camping chairs, maybe not as comfortable ones as in the link though ;) Also plastic dishes (plates, cups, ..)

I'll check, and make a full list of stuff I can bring, hopefully tomorrow.

ok, I looked what I have. I have 4 plastic plates and 4 plastic cups, and 3 of those camping chairs. Of course forgot about the gas cooker, I won't be able to go back to my parents place the next few days, so not likely that I'll bring it to the festival.
I also found a two person tent, which still looks kinda new. I think it's one of those iglu tents..
I hope I can fit all that stuff into my packback,

Hello everyone!
My friend and me but 2 tickets yesterday spontaneously and I'm looking forward to going there.
Do you guys have a special area where you are camping??
We can't arrive before friday, but we have some friends who will keep us a free space.
But I would like to come over to the CSers for some chatting and stuff.
See ya all on friday,
cheers Sarah
