I'm a new in SF!
I just arrived to SF and if somebody will show me around to taste the life over here, it will be great))
I am also kind of new here as well, though I can say I know a little bit about the city from previous visits... I can join you for a drink or something if you want. Do you have any plans for tomorrow?
PS: I will be busy from 9am to 6pm :P
Hey Anya, how long are you staying here? I would definitely love to meet someone from my sweet home city Minsk:)

Hey I'm also new in SF and would love to meet new people. If you want to get together some time, just let me know!
How long are you here for? I'm always up for fun. Exploring, sailing, drinking...
I will be here for one month. I'm a visiting medical student, so I work during the day but have free weekends.
I'll be here from 5th to 27th in August, it'd great to meet some fun locals or travelers to share life experiences or cultural differences...

Hi Anna!
I'm pretty new to SF myself but I'd love to explore the city with you! Hope you have a good time here. Me and my roommate love meeting new people to hang out with. And also, I have a free pass for a guest to some museums out here if that is something you're interested in.
Cheers!

So what do you newbies say? Let's find a cool location and hang out! My suggestion would be Zeitgeist, but am open to other suggestions..and what about the date? Friday? Saturday?

Hey all,
I just saw this thread, and it looks like there's a whole bunch of people who want to hang out this weekend and still no definite plan. So I went ahead and created a CS event at Horseshoe Tavern in Marina -- it's basically a bar in Marina that doesn't feel like Marina (ie not expensive). This Friday night at 6:30 pm :)

Hope to see you guys there!

you'll find that you won't be the only one speaking russian. SF has a huge russian (and nearby countries) population here in the avenues (Sunset area where there is always fog ). i love the russian bakery on Geary and 22nd avenue!! the City always has something going on during the week and especially weekends. a good place to find out free (or almost free) events is http://sf.funcheap.com. also, this thursday 9 aug is the fire-dancing jam in front of the Ferry Building starting at about 8pm in the plaza Justin Herman. it's very cool - i always go to snap pixs! it lasts for about two hours. take care, stay safe and enjoy your stay in SF!!!
