Hi, I created this group 3 years ago even if I never really animated it. Now, I am searching for motivated couchsurfes to moderate this group and strengthen the links between its members. If anyone is interested, contact me before mid-january. Happy new year! Julien 
CS flavor Experimental tourism
Dearest experimenters, Lots of possible (and impossible) travel experiences have already been proposed. I've been thinking about experiences using the CouchSurfing's framework: 1. INVERTOURISM. Hosts and guests to reverse the roles. The guest will try to reproduce his own town at the guest place: he may cook a typical dish for his guest, replay a typical Saturday's night activity, select him a movie from his homeland, speak or sing him something from there... 2. FRIENDLY CHAIN. Visit a CS friend, then: (i) Request his CS friends (eventually with his recommendations). (ii) Visit one of them. (iii) Make friends. Return to (i). 3. HETEROSTING. Use the CS search engine to find a host: who's living in a place you absolutely don't know, who's much younger or much older than you, who listens to a completely different kind of music, who doesn't speak your language, who does not belong to any of your groups. 4. RANDOM GROUP BROWSING. Select one of your group, look for your profile in the members list (which must be sorted alphabetically or by recent login,ex= http://www.couchsurfing.org/group.html?skip=0&gid=5711&show_members=Y&group_sort=name). Throw a dice then count that number of profiles down. Request the drawn couchsurfer. What do you think? Have already tested it? Any other ideas?
