Is it safe for females to travel alone?

I really want to give it a try someday next year

and since Ive been travelling alone all the times

I am just curious if it would be better off to go in a

group rather than alone.

Any females here tried alone?

Saw you posting and also joining the Southeast Asia group.
I might going to Russia -St Petersbirg next year
But im not sure, maybe around June or july /09

Hi

It is completely safe, there is a guard in each carriage whose job it is to look after everyone in his space, and there are loads of expats on there to make friends with.
