I just read the profile page of our hostess....is it Sharon? and am really getting excited. You and your family sound amazing....and I was pleased to see some of the things we have in common, including organic gardening and chickens. You certainly go out of your way hosting people and was sad that you have had some of the negative experiences that you have had...of people expecting you to take care of them and all their food needs without contributing. You made clear statements on your profile....but some don't seem to get it. I have noticed that, I may say I can only host one at a particular time, but get requests from two.

I also want to share with the rest of you that I am excited to meet more older adults who are enthusiastic about life and traveling. I am around so many younger folks that sometime I think I am suppose to think of myself as being old.....that is one thing about us boomers....we don't seem to be old at the time we expected to be old. I will be 69 this month and this is sure not what I thought that age would be like.

Looking forward....I am waiting to hear dates of a meeting I will have in March....I hope it is at the end of the nonth so that I can come.
