Canoeing tour events in Hungary before and after Sziget

During the six tours of the past four years we were 290 CS-ers canoeing! This year: 30 July - 5 August and 13 -19 August. There is a protected branch of the Danube in North-Western Hungary, winding in beautiful forests and grasslands. Thousands of birds nest here, you may see beavers or lutras. The river is free from floods; the campsites are charming; the locals are friendly. We will spend two nights on an island! A specialty: we go sightseeing to the town of Mosonmagyaróvár by canoe. This is a historical place with a nice castle and downtown. We’ll park the canoes 100m from the centre! We are not going to care about anything else but canoeing, talking, eating traditional Hungarian food made on open fire, swimming in the river, laying on the beach and recharging our batteries from Nature. It is a superb event with lots of FUN, sunshine and relaxation. Physically it is not demanding, we will have enough time to play, make fire, sing, play the guitar, dance and drink some palinka (Hungarian spirit) in the evenings. Old members don’t forget: the killer game, water splashing from the canoes, tail game, volleyball, war of numbers are going on! We’ll have a huge party right by the river last night in GYŐR, which is the biggest city in Western Hungary. Price 156 – 172 euro - the more we are the less it costs!
