Dear all out there!!
I’m looking for a partner in crime, crazy fellows all over the world who want to join into my travel adventure!
I’ve been working in theatre fort he last two years (directors assistant), took part in an off-scene group as an actress and worked for television two times…so all in all I had some good crazy interesting and exhausting years with no free time at all but a lot of learning and doing and learning by doing.
For the next year I decided not to get a steady job again, but to go out, travel the world, be free and make my own little art project……because this is for sure: I couldn’t stand one year without being creative!!!
Whats the point?
Whats the plan?
There is almost no plan at the moment (great feeling!), except for getting started this summer......and a lot of thinking I’ve already been doing. So now time has come to get everybody involved who wants to:
LET'S JOIN TOGETHER: hitchhike via Russia to China, making a film about it and see what might happen next....
or do a bike trip along the Donau to the Black Sea and make our way around it…..filming and experiencing everything....
..............or maybe somebody has a great film/theatre/art project going on himself and needs my help and work? I’m ready to jump on a plane and go wherever, sleep on a couch work for free (and my work is highly professional!) and just meet different people, different ideas about art, life.....the universe.
Traveling has always been an immense inspiration to me and I wonder what theatre might look like in China or if there isn’t a shooting going on in Australia.....
....you can call it crazy or naive or just stupid, maybe you're even right. But I’m going to set out and shoot for the moon. If I miss I’ll find myself among the stars;)
So everybody's help and ideas are welcome....or maybe you wanna join me....or want me to pass by on my way!
Cheers to all!
Miriam

Hey Miriam!
I'm thinking about hitching through Sibiria, Mongolia, China, Kazhachstan next year (around 5 months). Drop me a line if u want =)
As I`m so keen on strange, odd things, I suggest you do a movie about the strangest couchsurfers, or, better said, the oddest habits you can find around the world.
In order to get to choose your itinerary, you can post on CS groups and even on "coucsurfers looking for a host in...". Of course, you will tell people that you want to get them on tape, as natural as they could be, and wait for them to invite and tell in invitation the odd thing about them. When you get to those people, some ideas will probably arise about how to make things more funny, so the film won`t be a 100% documentary/cine-verite and you will need also a little bit of script and directing.
In case you get in Romania, I can guarantee, for instance, that there are things about us which usually couchsurfers didn`t notice; probably they didn`t read carefully our profile and groups we are on :)) - and maybe it was better like this ! ;)
Anyway, success with your project ! Or, do they say "break a leg" ? :)
All the best,
Gabi
hello Miriam
maybe it's not so original, but, have you heard about the europe to mongolia charity trip, in wich ppl drive from the west to ulan baator in a car, raising money for a charity down there and also at the end of the trip donating the car they've drove to get there.
I,ve just done a 3 week long bike trip from london to romania, crossing france germany, austria and hungary and it was ohhh, so hard and challenging but also a great experience.
like your ideea, what have you been doing lately, any closer to a conclusion yet?
planning to quit my job really soon and do some travelling, drop me aline if you're interested
