Small is beautiful

On Thursday, we move from our huge, rather empty church house into a tiny flat in a C19 mill by the same river but nearer work. This is a short to mid-term temporary arrangement. We hope to finalise the purchase of of our new cottage by the end of February. If we succeed we get a wonderful view, a local parlour pub and a gastonomic market town close at hand. Wish us well.

i love the way 'cottage' sounds
if it's anything at all like the way it feels...
and also the 'parlor pub' sounds very cozy, 'the wonderful view' is simply wonderful, and a the 'market town close at hand' is very attractive.
of course, 'February' is just around the bend.
