Looking for travelbuddies: road trip from MTL to St John's: end of June till mid July!

As said in the title,I'm planning to go on a trip from Montreal to St John's (Newfoundland) during two weeks: from end of June (could start around June 25th) to mid-July (I neend to be back in Mtl on July 17th). I would love to discover eastern Canada, not only Newfoundland! For the moment, I'm alone, so I plan to take a bus from Mtl to Sydney (NS), costs about 160$. Then take a ferry to reach NF and after that, take a bus again to St John's. If you are interrested in doing this travel with me, we could try the hitch hiking... I don't think I would to it alone on my own, but if we are at least two, that could be fun, more secure, and cheaper! I plan to stay in hostels and couchsurf as much as possible. New foundlanders are said to be the nicest people in Canada, so I think it will be a great adventure!
