ROMOLO'S Ice Cream and Cannoli Factory 81 W. 37th Avenue San Mateo, California 94403 (650) 574-0625 This is the gem of the Bay Area. All of the ice cream is produced by the owners themselves for the last 40 years! The cannoli's are made from ingredients flown in from New York and you will not believe the flavors they make.My favorite is the spumoni! I drive over forty miles just to get some when I run out. They have awards from all over the country from journalists who have stumbled across this place and the articles are plastered on the wall. They also have great espresso too! (ps Mitchells is my second favorite!) |
