Pigging out at Cabane a Sucre (Au Pied de Cochon), Montreal, join me?
Feasting on all things pig and maple at Au Pied de Cochon’s outside of Montreal (St.-Benoit de Mirabel) during sugaring season is on my bucket list, and I’d love to have foodie companions to go with!
I’m not precisely sure how it works (do you know?) but I think you/we have to make a reservation by December in order to get on the list for the Spring. Then I think they call you a few days ahead of time to say you’ve got a table? Then you/we race to Montreal as hungry as we can be?
I’d love to come see the Canadian countryside in the winter and meet some new friends, so please let me know if you’d like to join me. We need to make that reservation by December 1st.
P.S. If anyone could put me up for a day or two for this adventure that would be great! I’m coming from central Vermont on the New Hampshire side.
