Santiago Chile favorites
Headed south through Peru to Santiago, Chile in September. Appreciate any information on favorite things; to do to eat to see and where to sleep in northern Chile and Santiago.
Visiting old stomping grounds of Arequipa and Tacna Peru. I know they are vastly different from when I lived there so anyone with suggestions on those two cities would be appreciated also.
hi chris, i have just bin to saltlake uyuni, took a 3 days jeeptour from there to san pedro de atacama, bus to calama and then plane to santiago. i must tell you it was real MAGIC!!! i am an experienced traveller and this was absolutely fantastic. i think a must do type of thing, and very cheap by the way, can give you more information if you need.
More information please! I might be coming at the salt lake from Santiago so any ideas on planes trains and buses and costs would be especially nice. m
Sounds if you used a tour for part of the time. If you liked them their address/email would be nice. Any hotels worth mentioning?
We are still fooling around with locations in Santiago. If you like your accomondations would appreciate knowing the name and area it is in.
