Location: Music and Art >> Busking and Street Performing travel in Europe with harmonica it's possible ?
I going abroad this spring or summer to Scandinavia or France ,Benelux it's up to weather in the north is pretty cold :)maybe to find season job If I'll be enough lucky but on way want to earn some money to survive :)I did some street performing like fire show and playing on jambe with friends in few places in Europe.nice time and fun with people Now I like to try something new I'm beginner with harmonica now improving my skills when I will be ready want play on street sometimes during my travel. Someone have play harmonica on the street in Europe ? How it was ? Mostly allowed by the law ? I appreciate any advice Tomek hi tomek, the harmonica alone is fun but rarely attractive enough to provide you with sufficent money. if you combine it with anything it will become a show and will bring the public and the money. all you need is to hang it from your neck and add - a guitar, a drum, juggling balls, juggling chains, etc. if you have your hands free - use them. otherwise you can allways use youe feet, if you can jump a hacky sack or even put a spoon under youe shoe-sole for rhythm. mind you - harmonica solo is provoking pity, even if you play happy jazz (like i do), but any addition makes it joly - colorfull clothes and a hat too. i'm a harmonica master and i've been financing myself with it for the past few years, but without the guitar (on which i'm very average) i could never do that. good luck and happy travels. oded. |
