2-4week HORSE TRIP in Bolivia between Dec 2011-Feb 2012

Hi there!
I d like to do a horse trip during about 2-4weeks in Bolivia near the town of Tupiza: sierras, canions – pretty the “Wild West” landscape, brown and dry. Considering that hiring a horse for that time is probably not the cheapest thing I think Bolivia would be a good option. I live in Buenos Aires at the moment and can tell that Argentina is not cheap…
I am not a professional with horses… Just took few lessons and holiday 2-hour trips… But I know somebody, a non professional as well, who did a trip like that in Mexico, partly completely on his own, asking at farms he passed on his way for shelter. And it worked out…
I contacted some agencies in Tupiza that rent horses for organized trips and they recommended to come to Tupiza and directly negotiate the thing with the locals there if I want to do something independant (which actually also had been my plan). I would like to do a "circle-trip" through villages and end up in Tupiza again. On the way I plan to ask farmers for shelter and food.
I am looking for somebody who would like to do the trip with me. I have time from Chrismas 2011 - middle of February 2012, as I m dependant on school holidays.
So if you are interested, please send me a personal message!!!!! Thanks!!!!
Andrea
