Can someone please do a list out about the tunnel, i dont know all the information. I feel its bad that tunnel was left out of the poll but i see it was because the information was not in this group so i fell its bad when some people showed preference to the tunnel, and you said that once the polls came people could show if they wanted to go back to the tunnel. So can someone please fill in one of these for the tunnel and add it to the poll, or make a new poll. If not it should be added for next month. i didnt post this in the Vienna group as i am not trying to complain and start a fight. i was disappointed that it was not in the list because in the vienna group you said we would have a choice to go back to tunnel with a poll.

seriously that you posted it without the tunnel was crap, you promised that you would put it in there. a lot of people liked it best there. the price are the best. the waitresses are a lot nicer than at vorstadt, they were pushy and mean at times in vorstadt and they have a massive selection of food that is cheap.
but that you made the poll without discussing it in here was crap. couldnt we have decided on it ifrst before doing this, or was it posted in the austria amb group that i couldnt see. im sorry, but i was just really disappointed, why we need this poll three weeks before the stammtisch without discussing it with the whole team i do not know.

I left Tunnel out, clear, but that was because no one here cared about Tunnel. Thomas and me filled out the list as good as we can, but we never organized a meeting at Tunnel. So I just took all the places where there was information and made a poll with them.
From my point of view this group clearly fails, because after 2 months or don't know how long the only results are from Thomas and me.
If you want Tunnel, why don't you fill out this List? We did it for our Locations, and there are at least 3 people in this group who organized Stammtisches at Tunnel.
Also I think that Tunnel gets too small for us and the smoking situation is not good there, but I posted an Idea here of how to get more/bettere place in Tunnel ... with how many answers ... zero. So why the hell should I care about Tunnel?

Once again, I said I didnt know all the information about the tunnel, so i asked if somebody else could do it, simple as that. I dont speak german so id dint organise a lot. It was as simple as, i walked in and had lunch with abe, we asked if we could reserve the front area for 80- 100 people, and they said yes, we asked if we could have more than one waitress, and they said yes, and we asked if we could pay when the food came, and they said yes. That was that. The tunnel is big enough, we just havent taken up much of it. We have always taken the same place. The left, we can also take the right of the door, and upstairs. Downstairs i think would be out of the question as there are normally gigs going on, we would need to hope for a stammtisch on a day without a gig. we could ask to make the side to the right of the door non smoking, smoke would get in, but not as much. the door would give it some ventilation. People did care about tunnel in here, as I always have, and you all know thins, I made this perfectly clear. Why should you care about the tunnel? Beacause a lot of couchsurfers in Vienna care about it?

Why do you need a meeting message two weeks before the Stammtisch? Myself , abe, michael, isa, christine and I dont know who else were talking about this a few times. The stammtisch is always on the same date, and usually same time, around 7ish. People don't need to be told 2 weeks in advance, honestly a lot of people, except for the new people, probably wouldn't need more than 2 days in advance. They know its on, they just need to know where. I don't mind you wanting to organise everything in advance, that is cool, but all this is crazy. I organised the November stammtisch about 5 or 6 days beforehand and it was the biggest one to date. People just need to know where its on, the rest most of them know.
I like the meeting updates people send a few days before the stammtisch for anyone that was not a member when the first message was sent. Also, now this may surprise you but I would like it if the meeting messages were sent in German as well as English, although austrians are amazing and almost all speak english, it would be nice to send the message out in german as well. Just like I think it would be cool to have the Vienna group with a german description too.

No it is not crap, because the group should not be a "discussion group" but a working group. I posted the info about the pub I had ... at least. I also must admit I could have done more.

In my humble opinion, you can never have too much information. Especially when visitors to the Stammtisch are traveling unknown distances to be there.. With regard to location, I think its beneficial to have a poll as we do, but list all the alternatives too...
Maybe we should meet up prior to finalising the Stammtisch locations for polling in the future??,
You will never please everybody all the time, but that's just life. At the end of the day the location doesn´t make the Stammtisch, the people do...
