Alone this Christmas, looking to meet interesting people?

Last year I put out this message and had the pleasure of hosting 5 very interesting people for an amazing experience.
So I'm willing to do it again! Get in touch if you think you have something to bring to the party.

Snoopy and I would like to invite 5 interesting CS'ers, to our home for a CS festive experience. We live in a 200 year old converted stone barn in a charming small country village only 100Km from London. Arrive on or before Christmas eve and join us for a village 'at home' drinks n mix soirée, hosted by us for friends in the village. Choice of 2 local pubs for drinks and then maybe onto the church for midnight carols. Christmas day and Boxing day can be what we want but the main focus will be on good food, drink, swapping of stories and exploring the local area with Snoppy. Stay 2 or 3 nights, leaving with new life long friends and another amazing CS experience to talk about.

I'm looking to gather a mixed group of interesting people from different cultures each with something to offer the group, for a party with a difference. Tell me why you think you should be invited and what you can bring to the party!
I've hosted magicians, chefs, musicians and even a girl with a moustache! So I know there are some amazing people out there, I hope some of you would like to spend Christmas with us.

If this is not for you, fine. Thanks for reading, but maybe a friend fits the bill, pass the message on, make someone happy!

Sorry 26th is too late but maybe you could come over for New Year instead? Arrive say 30th or 31st? Give it some thought.

I must tell you, it is really a funny idea to spend Xmas... I am only sorry I won't be able to try this kind of selection...I have got 2 children ...1 husband and ...I can not spend xmas without them, but I really like your Xmas Event!! I wish you a GREAT XMAS ;)

Hi Giuseppina,
Sorry no. Only got one space left to fill. That is for a female but I already have an Italian chef coming so would prefer someone from another country.
My aim being to provide the experience for 5 single people who would otherwise be alone at Christmas. I have a dinning table and sleeping space for 6 so that is, 3 males (including myself), 3 females and each from a different country or culture.

I'll keep you in mind, however he has already booked his flights especially to come and stay with me. So its unlikely that he will drop out.
I hope you have a good Christmas, wht not invite some other Couchsurfers to stay with you?

I am a 20-year-old French student (Sorbonne University) and it will be my 1st Christmas alone. I would be happy if I could spend it with interesting people from everywhere. If you are still looking for someone to join you, it would be perfect for me ! I would bring some French products to share together !
