About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Build my startup (in particular, find more investment) while travelling around Europe, meet investors from many major cities, launch my startup.

ABOUT ME

Hi! Me? Well, firstly I'm not someone who expects you to read my whole profile - I've tried to be honest however, a part of me would prefer that you just left you knowledge of me blank so we can start from scratch when/if we meet.

I'm probably an introverted, quiet, language nut. I might not look you in the eye much when speaking to you, especially if I have lots to think about, but I'll probably listen as closely as I can to what u are saying and try and understand. I find language interesting, just speaking with another human especially about this now current moment, however seemingly mundane can be comforting and inspiring. Our experiences and language is different for all of us but maybe we can build a common understanding and know that we think and feel the same about some things and thus, perhaps, better trust our thoughts and feeling about other things.

My family moved around a lot when I was a kid, Places including: Hobart, Leeton (middle of no where town Australia), Yanco, Sydney and Newcastle, I lived in around 8 different houses growing up, I also lived in Germany for two years, where I have family. I was born in Aus, Im a quarter german and most of my ancestors are/were english.

I love to travel, I like to learn from and meet new people, I value and admire individuality but also acknowledge the necessity for conformity. After I left school I travelled around Europe and Africa for 3 years doing a lot of hitchhiking, volunteering and courchsurfing, I came home to surprise my family and left again shortly after to attend uni online while travelling around SE Asia and then 6 months exchange in China. I'm now in Germany doing a project that I've been working on for 20 months. I hope it will be finished soon.

PHILOSOPHY

Put it out there - be courageous - be yourself, do what you want and seek the change that you want to see in the world. Be prepared to get your life messy? However, If you don't want to do anything or say anything then don't, never let anyone tell you any different, not even a past self. Be free; Live, breath, see what the moment needs according to you and move in little steps to start with towards it. Most importantly there are always down times but nothing is permanent. The future can be bright if you believe it, always believe in yourself, if your light goes out: light it up again, if it keeps going out then jump to a different situation, you only have yourself to blame for staying down, there is a world of things to try. I am only what I hate, We are all human, unique and flawed, part of something much bigger than ourselves.

Interests

Tabletennis, basketball, ice Skating and ice Hockey, yoga, swimming, soccer, Hitch-hiking, writing (journal), Juggling, I like to eat feel good food, veggies and vegetarian food, meat occasionally, and sometimes junk food, piano, guitar, meditation, didgeridoo. Perhaps my biggest interest at the moment is learning about language, linguistics, german and chinese with ofcourse my main focus being building my website. I feel that honest expression and freedom of expression is very important, we learn our language/s from each other, and they change often. I love the idea of a global language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a street in Africa a little gambian girl came up to me and two friends, she grabbed each of our hands, in turn, looked at them for a second and then told us correctly how many siblings each of us had just by looking at our hands! She just ran off giggling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to juggle, hitchhike, English, practise with you: German and Chinese. I know a little about gardening, piano, guitar and didgeridoo... Maybe about Australia, and language.

I would love to learn anything about making a website, and meet developers, entrepreneurs, marketers, investors and fellow linguists. I would like to be encouraged to meditate. I would also like to teach english in the future and hopefully eventually would like to learn more Chinese. I'm also curious about traveling overland from Europe to China or Australia, if someone has experience in that I'm eager and yet to meet you; its been a long standing dream of mine.
