Ady was one of the best host I've ever had. He was super nice and polite and I will never forget the wonderful tour through Viena he gave me.
He is smart and totaly trustworthy. I hope we meet again!

Ady is such a gentle persona and an exceptional host. We enjoyed a lot staying with him.

 

I had met Ady at a few meetings in Vienna and always had the impression he is a very intelligent and interesting person. Which of course was confirmed when he kindly let me surf his couch in Bangalore. He was a very kind and patient host, explaining to me many things about life, culture and food in India. He also took me along to meet his friends and see a beautiful temple on the way. I hope to see him again soon :)

I had some very intresting and knoledgeable conversations with the scientist, he plans and prepares for everything.

Aditya is photographer cum architecture cum thinker cum talker cum singer cum dancer cum lovely boy cum etc etc....now wouldn't u like to have such a multipackaged combo on your trip....

 

Aditya is an absolute mine of information about politics and religion, but also very good at listening. A fascinating trip companion - I hope he knows as much about scuba diving for the next trip!

Meet the Future guide of all the places he has traveled to....he has an unlimited thirst for knowledge....and he does try to fulfill the same.....an enthusiast...bathroom singer...very good co-traveler (will explain everything you haven't been able to figure out about the place)...

Attracted by the profile on CS site,when I contacted Aditya through CS mail, he was very prompt and warm in his response to invite me to his place.He took pains to see that I reached his home safely and easily,made me feel comfortable,hosted me for a few hours like a good old friend in a wonderful way.
What all other CS friends write about him is true.He is a very open,friendly, knowledgeable and helpful person.He shared with me his Europe experience,gave me wonderful guidance for my forthcoming Europe visit and accepted to couch surf with me during his visit to Badami. In a nutshell,an ideal couch surfing member,guiding new members what to do and what not to do in proper utilisation of the CS project.Hats off to Dr.Aditya!

 

Had a wonderful conversation and breakfast with Aditya and Marcus in Vienna. A passionate, intelligent and sensible guy, it was indeed a pleasure to meet him.

Aditya was a very,very nice person!very uncomplicated,we had good conversations and we cooked together, we just had a very good and funny time together!!

Aditya is the quintessential traveler, always craving for more.An instant rapport struck and we share a common liking for history and culture.Looking forward to travel together very soon :)

I met Aditya in a scientific meeting in Paris. We had interesting conversations there and others, later, on my blog. Aditya is very friendly, open-minded and smart. I strongly recommend you pay a visit to him if you go to Bangalore.

Aditya is fabulous host who knows almost everything about Vienna. Inspite of his busy schedule, he showed me around the city. We talked about various things. He is caring, and an extremely gracious host. Thanks Ady. See you soon in Bangalore. I owe you a big one :)

Ady has a nice apartment in the centre of Vienna, with most of the attractions within walking distance. Ady is very friendly and openminded. He knows everything about everything, and he always had good answers to my questions about biology. I had a really great stay with him.

we have met adi on several occasions so far - be it any kind of cs-gathering, dinner at a friends place or a great night out... he is one of the most curious persons i have met so far and it's really worth beeing curious in return - it is very interesting talking to him on so many different topics... plus he is very kind and intelligent person and always up for some good fun :)

 

The only Indian man I know so far :-). Ady is a great host! Indian food prepared by him was very tasty. His warm welcome will leave good memories about my visit to Wien for me.

Aditya hosted me and my friend in Vienna. Though we dint get to spend much time in Vienna, we really enjoyed Adi's company and the talks we had with him. We were trying to get my American friend introduced to Indian linguistics and history with the help of the huge Indian map he has in his apartmment :). Talking about his work in genetics, he is really fascinating and the first thing that stuck me was his outstanding ability to explain complicated scientific stuff to non-techy people with amazing clarity. Talk about books, science, films, travel, philosophy ... anything ... he has something to say. over-all .. a very interesting and friendly guy ... a wonderful host ...

I really enjoyed the time with Ady! He's an intelligent, warmhearted and very positive person. We had lots of fun and his friends are lovely as well! It's been the first time someone hosted me through CS. I couldn't have imagined any better host ;-) Thanks to his support I'm really looking forward to move from Innsbruck to Vienna and finally found a nice room in a flat-share. Computational biology meets wet lab! Even though Ady has stayed only for a night we spent a considerable amount of time talking to find out that we share interest in many things like science, politics and foreign cultures. I am looking forward to meeting him in Vienna, my favorite city in Austria and his current city of employment (2007).

 

There is so much that can be learnt from Ady! He often says that there are many things that interest him, and that becomes obvious when you talk to him or hear him talking to others. Be it indian music, politics, cooking, psycology, books, geography or what-so-ever - he demonstrates a deep interest and knowledge in all this. He's a very caring host too. I would love to live in Vienna to just be able to see him more often.

 

Unfortunately my stay was during the weekdays and he had to work a lot - but I really enjoyed the time we got and the impression that I got of him was that he is a very kind and thoughtful person and a great host.

Ady was an excellent host.I usually talk a lot but I am really speechless now, he's got so many impressive features of character...So I just let my reference for this exceptional person to be a summary of the ones below and eventually add that Ady was one of the best hosts I've ever had.

Adi Hosted me and my girlfriend Katka. He is not only a nice host but mostly perfect source of information on any topic. We ware booth surprised of his wide spectrum of interest. I would spend hours and days investigating Adi.

 

Ady is a very kind man with a fascinating range of interests. His curiosity about the world, and his ability to share his own knowledge and opinions made for the kind of wonderful conversation in which time is easily lost. Not to mention he's a caring, sensitive host. I felt right at home.

Ady was a brilliant host. As we only had one full day in Vienna he gave us an amazing 5 hour tour of the city and introduced us to his friends and other couchsurfers. We only wish we could have spent more time with him.

Ady was a really nice host. He showed me arround and we saw a great concert on the street of other Cs's :-). Although i stayed for a short time, it was a great experience.

Yes, he is trying to make the world his family. We first met at Evelin's place and then again at CSC in Eisenstadt.

He's a great person to be arond with, great temper, looking foward meeting him again!

Aditya is a very nice and communicative person. I met him at a nice dinner where we managed not to speak too much about biology :)

it was interesting speaking with adi, debating some important topics on which we were divided, however we also found common ground too!

i have had talks with aditya at a couple events now, and seen him at at least one other where i didnt get the chance. he is always engaged, interested, easy to talk to and friendly. from what i gather he takes an active role in various communities in wien which indicates a strong and positive social beliefs. always happy to see him at a gathering

 

Haha, I still smile when I think of this guy. He is really funny, very very friendly, open and easy going. We shared some great amounts of laugh at this great dinner at Ane and Peters place, together with Marcus Eder, my friend Tihomir and Suzanne from Jordan. When I get back from Cairo, I'll surf his couch 4 sure!

Aditya hosted us when we were in Vienna. He showed us how to get to places, and all the attractions we could visit. The last night he took us to a nice classical place where we had a drink. We had a ball in Vienna!

I met Adi at the European CSC. We had a great time there. Adi is really a nice & Friendly Guy. He really Help me alot! he is the 1st indian i Met in my very 1st trip out of my country & because of Adi & Evelyn i really Feel comfortable in such a new world! thanx for everything Adi!! Ady was our night guide in Vienna. He showed us Vienna by night, he knows a lot about the city, he has even planned how to guide us so that the monuments would be more impressive. We exchanged ideas on life, on our cultures, while we take a rest in the red couches of the museums quarter. He is an intellectual, knowing a lot about life, nice and polite person. One of the first things he asked was how Turkish people were feeling about the recent literature nobel prize going to Orhan Pamuk! He gave us a lots of tips for our planned visit to India. Ady, you always have a couch in my city!

Adi is a very nice host!!! it was my first experience couch surfing and he was very generous. He had lots of experience in this stuff and gave me lots of advice. well, thank you again very much and i am sure to drop by and have coffee again with in in Vienna.

To have Ady around was a wonderful experience. First time I had real indian food, which was delicious. It was so much fun to talk to eachother and discuss several topics. Easygoing, respectful, funny... hope to meet again my friend!

Ady was the most pleasant and respectful guest we have ever had. Partly this is because he is an extremely understanding and accepting person. I will definitely be keeping in contact with Ady!

 

Adi and I sometimes meet up and go for a drink or eat somewhere. He's a great person to know and I can recommend him as guest and host and if you like Indian food, he's the cook :)

We met with Ady in the centre of Vienna a few days ago. He showed us a bit of Vienna by night (which is great by the way) and we had some interesting chats about life, India and Greece on the confortable red "constructions" made on the court of MQ under the stars. He is a really nice and polite person; for once more I realise how similar Greek and Indian people are. He knows a lot of things from history and politics and he motivated us for visiting India! A really nice person; hope we can welome you in Greece (again) or Istanbul!

not only his India cooking style makes it worth to visit him :-) we met a few times and sure will met again. a real Irie guy this is...

 

You have to surf with him! He reminded me of home ...what else can I say! Very well read and fun to talk too .. We sat up late the first night chatting away ..unfortunately we werent in Vienna over a weekend :(
He introduced us to Doner Kebabs ...and we became addicts! And his couch ... serious comfort!
He gave us the best pointers on museums and what to dos in Vienna .. n my mom enjoyed watching Bengali movies at his crib.

I stayed with Ady for 2 days. We had a lot meaningful discussions about science, religion and philosophy.

Happy to meet Ady. I surfed Ady's couch for 4 nights in December 2005 and he was great all the time. He is a very interesting guy, he cooks :D and i felt very confortable at his place. Thank you Ady!!

 

Ady was a guest with many good traits and a very bad one ;) He was kind, and friendly, and open minded, and realxed, and educated, and discrete BUT he stayed for only one day... Maybe next time or whne I come to Austria :)

 

I feel like a pity to not have spent the right amount of time with Adi.
With Heike and Antoine, I talked with him in the early moments after the welcome from Mike and Raine and as soon the first words came out, revelead his deep and wonderful peaceful soul. I was lucky enough to be accepetd by Ady as guest during our weekend in Vienna. he's a great guy and really interesting to have a conversation with. It is true what other guests have said, he knows more about your country than you.. His greatest quality is curiosity. he's got an hyperactive mind that is always hungry for knowledge and you should be lucky to share something with him.. One of the most considerate and attentive persons I have met so far

 

at last !! It was really close to travel together with Adi during the spring holidays in southern greece but only a marginal bad timing broke the good intentions. So now that i visited vienna i am very happy having the chance to meet this very nice person!! Cya around :)

 

Aditya did whatever he could to give us a good time in Vienna: Show the city at nights, share his books, music, bathroom, shorts, couch, lan, fridge, time and space... He is such a kind and caring host, and he can cook a revelation from scratch. The spice wizard! Ask him for some classical Indian music - here's where you get it... Thank you so much for the shelter, Ady. I'll have to ome back some day.

The first person i saw in Einstadt from South Asia. He helped me a lot as it was my very first couch surfing experience in Einstadt and he actually made it easy for me. Great guy.

 

Ok, Vienna isn't THAT bad, thanks to Ady. In a rather unfriendly place as Vienna, it is such a pleasure to find people like Ady living there. Already an interesting character to chat with at the CS bbq in Linz, he showed just what a fantastic host he is, on my second trip to Vienna. He hosted me and trey for 5 days, and didn't throw us out despite making a mess of his living room! He was unfortunately too busy that week, but he would always find time to talk to us for a while in the evenings, even though he was so tired from cloning sheep all day.
When you are in Vienna, you must meet Ady, trust me, it doesn't get any friendlier than him!

Deep Indian man with no roots. Aditya was rather busy when I arrived but still he made my bed and chat with me. He is deep and sincere. I was very relaxed and comfortable staying at his place. I wish I can talk to him more but my days in Vienna was too short and I didn't get to finish my papers in Vienna. (Keep on my day dreaming!)
