I am so thankful to Kelvin and his family. I was meant to be that I meet them, I am sure. They saw me wandering around in Kuching and Kelvin remembered me straight away and his mum came over to ask me, if I was on couchsurfing. I spent a wonderful time with him and his mum, dad and Brother. They took me out to a market near the indondesian border where no tourist was in sight. Kelvins brother cooked a wonderful dinner for me and I spent hours feeling very comfortable and welcome. Kelvin is such a nice person. He is c.alm and very peaceful and funny. I like his views of the world. His mum is about the sweetest person I have met so far, the same for his dad and his Brother. And his doggie is soooo cute! You should really meet them in person, they definately will be in my mind whenever telling people about my Sarawak trip. Thanks a lot Kelvin!!!

It's amazing how different people feel! I was disappointed not saying 'Goodbye' to you.. But when i read your reference, i was hugely surprised! It was pleasure for me to meet you, i enjoyed the day we had in Listvyanka ;) my friend Lena liked you a lot! And i want to thank you for making my Dad and Lena having fun. it means a lot to me. Hope to see you in Malayasia, Russia or whereever again! :)

we met each other in kursk where we lived in the same hostel and did the same university!
Kelvin invited me to couchsurfing mettings and there i could met a lot of good persons!
we were almost every day together!!

Kelvin is a really great guy! First he had wanted to come to me in Moscow but it hadn't happend and later I visited him in Kursk because I relised he is good guy worth to meet him. Kelvin has done a supertasty dinner with amazing food, nice company and fun! Thanks a lot for such cool time in Kursk! Hope to see you again.

 

I was happy to meet Kelvin in Moscow , he was a guide as he speaks russian and he was describing me malaysian borneo...I would like to go there as soon as possible after his descriptions.

I met Kelvin in my hometown Kursk on a... CS meeting. This thing I wouldn't expect in such place. But through Kelvin I found that there is many couchsurfers and other crazy foreign people who are coming to the ass of Russia to spend there 6 or more years for studying medicine.
Well, Kelvin is one of them. I had to do something with that fact, that he and his friends don't know anything about the area where they live. They never left the city in whole 6 years!
I showed them one monastery around Kursk and slums of the city. And we spent a lot of time together cooking and eating international food.

I hosted Kelvin on his last weeks in medical school and I really want him to have the best memories about Russia and Moscow in particular. On the first day we met and went to TIKIBAR for CS weekly meeting, and after to my place where we talked till 1AM for there's a lot of topics to discuss for us. The next day he left with Mauri to explore the "Park Pobedy" and probably VDNH. Polite, kind and at the same time really active CS participant with lots of things to share. Keep it up, Kelvin, I'll do mu best to see you in Malaysia.

Kelvin organized our first CS meeting in Kursk, big thanks for him! He is very interesting person to speak with, very friendly. And he taught us to make sushi:) Hope to meet him and his friends again.

 

I don't often meet CS loving med students :), like Kelvin and his friend. Kelvin really made an impression. He was interesting, talkative, relaxed and funny :). I am sure that he'd make a good travel travel buddy... You know what, when I have final dates for this cross Siberia trip, I'll contact you, and who knows, maybe we'll do it together :). Cool!

I met them during their trip around the Balkans. Both are them were curious and very open-minded. It was interesting to chat with them about their Balkan experience and their study life in Russia. Also, they were surprisingly brave in trying Rakia.

Kelvin and his Malaysian fellow, Victor, surfed my Bucharest flat right at the time of Chinese New Year, which we spent tasting Asian dishes he prepared, looking at maps, learning Malay language and Romanian history.

Kelvin is a cheerful, positive and ready to develop his travelling skills (I'm glad he got into hitchhiking, while in Romania). He has lots of funny stories and bursts into laughter quite often. That it's the best contagious thing to get from a doctor. Having him as a guest was very pleasant, as he is well travelled and communicates easily. I bet he's an equally cool host too.

 

Kelvin and Victor are awesome. Before even really taking there coats of and fully arriving, they rushed to the stove and cooked us delicious rice within less than 15 minutes. That was extremely impressive! (After cooking they even did the dishes)
Both are super funny, entertaining and make good doctors, hopefully. If I will ever be sick (and a kid again), I will go to Neuschwanstein to see Calvin. Come back whenever you want!

 

If I didn't already know better, I might have thought Kelvin was quiet when he first got here. He and Victor arrived and immediately set about making us dinner, which was awesome. They are both great guests and wickedly funny. I was sad to see them leave so soon, but luckily they've been chronicling their adventures online so they're still keeping me entertained.

Kelvin,Pauline and their friends invited me over the lunch in their hostel. We spent good time together talking. They are very cool guys,I liked them very much. I think we'll be get together when I'll arrive to Kursk next time!

 

Kelvin was a great host... he took us to the Cat Museum, the greatest museum ever throughout the history of time! Yes it was THAT good! Kelvin is a great guy and fun to talk with, and he gave us a nice tour of his city and we went out for drinks a few times. Hope to see you in Russia!

we had a great time in kuching, i call him one day and from that day, everyday i was in kuching i call him to have a coffe or beer!
he introduced us, mike, the canadian comedian and myself, to the delicious food of kuching (saya suca kolo mee), also we discovered together the craziest museum i ve ever being(the cat museum in kuching)
and we had a great evening at the orangutan park with other orangputi people around...
nice funny guy, if u are around russia or wherever he is have a beer with him!!!or a vodka or two!!

Really nice guy! He picked me up from the airport, show me around his city, take me to try some delicious local food and later we did a Kuching bars and clubs tour.

He is easygoing and very friendly. It was a pleasure to met you, good luck in cold Russia!

Me and my friends spent a great time with Kelvin. He is very helpful, friendly and funny person. He and his friend gave us a lot attractions while staying in Kuching in 2007. Wish U luck !

 

Kelvin is great! Simply like that, he does everything to make you feel well and also a generous guest together with his friends! His apple pie/tart was unforgettable, my girlie is trying to copy it ever since :)

Kelvin stayed at my place for just one night. A little bit to short!! He is a nice guy with whom you can talk very easily. It was nice sitting around talking and drinking a little bit.
Hope we meet again so that we get to know each other better.

Kelvin, or 'Claudio' as we like to call him, is terrible with the camera, but amazing with a saucepan and spatula in hand. Art in the kitchen, he calls it. I find it hard to disagree.

everyday there is a surprise if you are travelling with him,funky guy and funny,laughs a lot and nice to hang out with. plus he is good in cooking

Kelvin is very decent person, with great sence of humour. Good in fusball and food lover!! What to say more, just a perfect company!!!

I met Kelvin and his friend in Kuching in July 2007. They showed us the city. I really enjoyed that time.

 

Kelvin was a fantastic tour guide in his beloved Kuching. His love for his city realy made me appreciate it a lot more. He is very hospitable and generous and I must thank him for introducing me to Laksa, my favourite Malaysian dish.

both are nice guys who stayed with me for few days and had lots to chat and stories about Russia. Had a walk around town and i guided them towards hot spots in HK and we had a hot hot spicy Pakistani food which was bit too hot for them. I also thank them for their Russian souvenirs. I wish them best in their future studies.

 

We spent really cool time in Kuching, Kelvin with his friend showed us the city and took us to great places.

I met Kelvin while being hosted by Imran in Jordan/Kowloon, HK. He is ambitious, kind, and overall a great guy! I was delighted to hear about his travels and thirst for more adventure!!

He can cooked a lots of delicious food.. This is the most important thing for me to become his freinds. ha...Hope i can try soon..

He and his friends stayed with Chrisitine and so we met up for coffee. It was an easy ongoing chat, pretty funny and really interesting stuff. I hope we could have a chat another time in one of his "home destinations" that would be great.

It was a real pleasure to host Kelvin and his friends. They were considerate guests, great fun and interesting to talk to. And Kelvin cooks the most amasing meals.
