Apr 22, 2007  Positive On one particular night, we sat in a decidedly Bolognese bar drinking alcoholic beverages and "playing poetry." It's where each person writes down a line, creative or not, swaps and has the other continue along the same lines and so on until nirvana or some dogmatic standstill is reached. I describe this exchange because it may give you an idea of what Amy is like: poetic...more accurately, artistic (her love of writing in its various forms also shows that she seeks to find out about the world around her and to express it according to her principles), perceptive and receptive (the game requires that you follow and are in tune to the ideas of the other...poetic language can render this somewhat tricky), creative (a great way to learn something about someone else), unconventional (an alternative to having a conversation), accepting and encouraging (the words of the fellow poet are always good enough.....or maybe the prosecco had kicked in enough for prejudices to be eliminated).
In a nutshell, she's def worth getting to know!!! (as is her illustrous partner in creativity: LUCA!!! Luca (aka future guitar-toting farmer) has such a great involvement with the land...it's esp noteworthy considering the state of the earth nowadays!!
